Senior Pastor Ray Johnston founded Bayside Church in 1996, after he and his wife Carol obeyed God’s call on their hearts to respond to the need of a place in Northern California where people will be loved, accepted, healed, and taught, spring boarding them into a thriving life through God’s truth and grace. Under Pastor Ray’s leadership, Bayside has become one of the fastest growing churches on the west coast, with over 11,000 people coming together for worship, teaching, prayer and connection at 8 weekend services on 3 campuses throughout the Sacramento area. Each week, thousands more around the world see the video and hear the podcast of the Bayside Church weekend message.

Bayside Church is truly becoming “One Church – Multiple Locations” as we move into the next chapter of God’s plan for Bayside – the establishment of regional campuses, of which Folsom is the first one! These regional campuses are still everything you love about Bayside, just packaged a little differently. Each regional campus has live worship with the Bayside Band, the weekend message via high def life-size video, dynamic kids and student ministries, local small groups, and plenty of opportunities to get connected and find a place to serve.
